Yes, as long as the drain hose can be kept at a level that's lower than the PAC's drain outlet. However, on many PAC models the drain outlet is placed at the bottom of the unit, making it very difficult to drain the water. Unless there is a floor drain nearby, this type of PAC will need to be set on a platform so the drain hose can be easily routed to a remote floor drain, bucket or outside location where the water can flow out of the hose.
